Hello Guys,

I know I’ve been disappeared from a while. Like everyone else just going thru ups and downs in life. I try to keep it up by shooting a simple look in a ethnic attire. This Salwar kameez  is not customized my me or anyone. It’s ready made which my friend got me from India. I just had it stitched according to my measurments. I’m so in love with this color combination of Navy blue and Orange. As the shirt itself was heavy, didn’t do much with tailoring. Kept it very simple stitching just a round deep neck from front and back. Didn’t added any tassels or anything. Kept it simple, classy and lil sassy.

Enjoy the Summer Heat!

Less Heat, More Summer!!!

Summer Style

Summer Time! yay 😉

Have you ever stopped to think about how different the summer and winter seasons really are? Consider the wardrobe change your closet and dresser go through as the seasons slowly transform.

The most important thing about summer could be, wearing easy clothes but fancy to beat the summer heat with a style. In this look I’m wearing a sleeveless crop top with Bandhani Dhoti Pants. When it comes to summer colors we think about bright red, green, orange etc. I paired my light purple crop top with a violet dhoti pant. Isn’t that a fresh color for summer. I added my mom’s old Dupatta to the look just to protect the heat rays and that matched my outfit perfectly. In summer its hard to leave hair open, I just can’t deal with my hair with all the sweat. Tied my hair into a low pony tail. As I kept the look very soft so just added a little cute pearl choker. I’m a die heart fan of Punjabi Juttis; I can literally wear them everyday. Here in this look I’m wearing Black base Punjabi Jutti with pastel colored beads on it. I found that Jutti so sexy and classy.

Coming to an end I would like to share what Blogging means to me, I can wear Jeans with some kind of tops and put them as a style but that’s not what I want to show people. I create my own styles. Blog about something that is hard to find, update the world with your styles.

I love feed back,  it doesn’t only have to be nice, say what you personally believes 🙂

Desi Fusion

Hi Fam,

How is everyone doing? This time I won’t let u people hit the boredom with my story of weather and work 😉 This time I have come with a contemporary look, western desi fusion.
As all knows India is a rich culture with clothing, food and festivals. Almost every state have a different way of styling and clothing.

Saree (Drape) is a timeless classic piece. Its a traditional Indian wear can be worn in different styles. Its a 6-9 meter cloth wrapped around the waist with one end rolled over the shoulder. For people like me have to be very conscious with Saree because the fear of falling is real. The twist has got me and you, casually trolling, also learning the art of wearing Saree with confidence; making a statement appearance. This is the modern interpretation. Played mix and match of colors. This fusion look is making a classy appearance with dhoti pants. Many Bollywood actress have nailed this Dhoti-Saree looks. The Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor always leaves as amazed with her fresh styling of wearing and carrying herself. My outfit wasn’t really made. I picked three different pieces from old dress and put them together. Instead of dhoti pant a Salwar (Known to be a north Indian Wear) would also be worn. I paired an old Saree blouse with that and draped a Jaipuri Dupatta from Mom’s closet. Its basically a mix and match of different outfits. I loved the colored. You can never go wrong with a teal blue and hot pink. Coming to Jewelry this elegant head piece can also be worn as a necklace.

I am crazy for Punjabi Juttis (foot wear) they are just so comfortable, no pain, no tiredness, dance and run with no fear. Also wearing my favorite pair of anklets from Jyoti Bindra located in Richmond hill (NY). And I just added a Potli (bag), Potlis are so in trend these days you can basically find them from any local Indian jewelry store.

This was the whole Fusion look. I hope you guys like it. Thank you for visiting my page again. Will be back soon with new look. Enjoy till then.

Bling Bling: The Game is On !

Hello Fashionistas, I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather nowadays. Finally, we’re about to hit spring. Sudden changes in weather this year brought early happiness in New York. Ok guys I don’t wanna waste no body’s time by telling my stories. So coming to the point I came up with a new bling bling look this time. Scroll down for details,

This post is all about my love for Silver.  I wore this Sequin Mini Dress with front floral embroideries. The color itself includes glamour, sophisticated and distinguished. The rough edges, tulle lining on the neck, sleeves and hem all over gave it so much class. Many times wearing a beaded dress could be little uncomfortable, this one was so comfy trust me; the day I wore this dress made me feel happy inside. Short sleeves and round neck with back button fastening makes it even more relaxing. I’m usually US size 4 but this dress I got in XS which is Size 0-2 and it fits perfectly. Gold frame pink sunnies are from They usually have deals just pay a shipping and get your pair. And, I just added a tiny accent braid to make it simple and stylish. Also I’ve changed my hair color to ombre. Do let me know how you guys like it.

These Silver eyed flats INC International concept completely goes with the look. I fall in love with them as soon as I saw them in Macy’s.img_1028

Hippie Style

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to my page. I hope y’all doing well and loving the winter. But I’m one of those who prefer summer. So I’m not really having good time in this cold. And on top of that my schedule everyday is so tight, couldn’t get a chance to shoot. I know it took me a while to come back and update my blog, so here I’am with a Western Desi- Fusion look.

This look could be a everyday causal look for school or college. I kept it a lil easy by not adding lot of jewels. As we all know about the craze towards crop tops and who says crop tops can only be worn in summer. I styled this crop top with super high waisted pant. High waist pant will definitely save u from cold and gives little extra style to your casual appearance. I am loving those zig-zag edges and the pom poms are giving it a fun style. The bindi (beaded sticker on forehead) is taking me to a whole new way of being a hippie girl with everyday look.

Let me know how you guys like the look. Comments below or email me

New Year’s Eve 2017

Hello everyone!! Happy New Year to all, so yeah I’m writing this post about my new year’s eve. The month of new beginning and celebration. It’s that time of year again when streets are lit up with bright flamboyant lights, sounds of crackling fireworks can be heard a mile away.

Everyone plans for New Year so as I; but I couldn’t come to a conclusion about what to do, where to go, what to wear, etc. And all of a sudden a friend of mine called and invited me to join a party in a club. You may have heard about DJ Amit (one of the best desi DJ in NYC). He offered me the advantages like free VIP tickets, unlimited drinks :), food, etc. In today’s era who doesn’t love all these things. I decided to go with my two other guy friends and rock the club. The party was obviously super lit. We had so much fun and it was one of the craziest night of 2016. I hope all of you guys had  good time as well with friends and family. Wish you all a very happy new year once again. Thank you for visiting my page.

Chilly Willy

Black and White love

Hi peeps, first of all welcome back to my blog and, Happy Holidays to all of you! Hope everyone is having good time and enjoying Christmas!! I have been trying to update my blog but, because of my tight schedule I couldn’t get a chance to get things done on time. So, here I’m back in a casual look.

I took out few hours from my holiday schedule to go out with my sister and click some pictures. As, we all know here in New York, winters are crazy but it’s just the beginning. It was so chilled outside so i decided to title this “Chilly Willy”.

OKAY!! Lets start with outfit details,  I kept this look simple and fresh for any casual day. Paring a White T-shirt with black jeggings. To keep it simple and classy, Black boots goes with anything in the world so I thought of why not try them with a blazer. After all day rain, finally the sun decided to come out and I got a chance to put my shades on as well 🙂 As we know choker necklaces are so trendy these days. The one, I’m wearing is a bold black net choker with silver coin studs. I hope you guys will enjoy the look.

Please do comment below weather you like it or nah. But, let me know how do you liked my hair; because I have been receiving very negative comments from few fellas. Scroll down for pictures.

Thanks!! Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Punjabi Traditional Women Clothing

Desi Style

Punjab is one colorful region of the world with rich culture that keeps on inspiring and attracting the people globally. The traditional women clothes of the region are perfect blends of beauty, elegance and comfort which are called Salwar Kameez. Punjabi suits consists of three pieces – the kameez which women wear as tops, the salwar which acts like the bottom piece and the dupatta or chunni. It is indeed a wonderful look that Punjabi women attain with these traditional clothing styles.                                                                                               jyoti-155jyoti-186

I love to wear Indian dresses as they are elegant and comfortable. There are various types of Indian dresses but my favorite Indian Traditional dress is Salwar kameez. It is a traditional dress of Punjab which is mostly worn by North Indian people. Salwars are detached pajama-like trousers. The legs are wide at the top, and restricted at the lower leg. The kameez is a long shirt. Purpose of dupatta is to cover modesty. You can also actually tie around your waist & take on one shoulder.

The Salwar Kameez I’m wearing is made in India at some local tailor shop (non brand), the jewelry as well. I tried to make a combination of two vibrant colors which came out really good and eye catching. I don’t really wear Punjabi suits but my love for them is infinity ♥ Simple Punjabi suits always give you elegant look. And most important Punjabi Jutti/Ethnic Footwear, look is incomplete without it. If you’re looking to buy anything similar there are tons of options now a days. Check out on Instagram search for Punjabi jewelry or Punjabi suits.

I hope you guys like the look!
